Christmas Quilt Along
It's time for our next installment of Sue's Festive Mystery and our hostess this month is 'P' ofSweet P Quilting. Join in or pull a Christmas present to finish or any project to sew along with us.
**I will be updating on this one post**
UPDATE
I have almost all 24 blocks 'mesh' pieced, but I need to go to my granddaughter's birthday party now. I will finish up when I return.
UPDATE
I'm home again (party was only 8 miles up the road) and putting those 'meshed' (or webbed) blocks together - just can speed sew them right thru the machine. Then a good pressing - but I will have to do that next door as my iron over-heard all those 'iron woes' and decided to go belly up. I will pick up a new one tomorrow while on my next outing.
I have all 24 blocks done and pressed. I will probably go with a constant pattern layout - or change my mind next month! I need to pick up as I need my two portable banquet tables loaded into my car as my daughter needs them for the party tomorrow and I'm heading out early.
I will finish the day/night out with some cross stitch.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

Hi Sharon - looking forward to seeing what you get up to today - and birthday wishes to the little ones too!
Cute blocks to be. You'll probably have the whole quilt finished by tonight....grin.
Have fun at the party.
Enjoy the birthday party!
I like the traditional Christmas colors in this block. Hope your granddaughter has a wonderful birthday.
They look lovely in traditional Christmas colours.
Hope you enjoy the party and don't eat so much cake, jelly and ice cream that you make yourself ill.
Love your blocks...definitely festive and perfect! You've had a busy day! Enjoy your evening!
Kudos on getting all your blocks pieced together. Good for you. Your grand daughter's birthday how sweet, did everyone have a wonderful time?
I'm envious that you have your blocks done and they look so pretty!
Boy they look great. I can't wait to see when complete.
Love it! I am going to do a Christmas in July thing too!!! Seems to be popular.
Your blocks look lovely, I am so looking forward to seeing how you decide to lay them out now.
Hope the parties went/go well this weekend.
