Stash Organization

I have been a bit under the weather, so my organization to my new space is rather at a stand still - and rather messy. BUT I would really like to share the lovely Teresa of Fabric Therapy with you. Some of you may remember her post on then named Stash Manicure (now Sew We Quilt). The Queen of Organization for sure. She is posting a series of 'helps' on taming and organizing that stash. Although most of us may not have anything compared to her, her tips and skills are fantastic. So please go here:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

Part 4 & 5 to come - it will leave you breathless as well as so informed.

Sharon, hope you are on the mend soon. Thank you so much for sharing the organization skills. This was perfect for me. I already have the totes but needed a better way to use them. Now I'm ready!

Praying you'll be feeling back "above the weather" soon! I took a look over at all three of her posts. She's got a LOT of stash. I'm not sure all her stash would fit in my RV, even if there was nothing else in it! Haha!! But I felt like I've put into practice a lot of the techniques she's talked about, which made me feel good. I have found that while I don't work well in chaos, I also do not do well with over-organization. It gets too tedious for me and takes the fun out of it. So I'm somewhere happily in between!! Thanks for sharing -- and especially on the TS updates (you know me ... always pursuing)!! Hugs!!! :)

Sure hope you are feeling better soon! Love how your sewing room is coming together (still love that front door; it has so much character. But then homes built years ago do have a lot more personality!). I'm off to see Teresa!

I am really sorry that you have been not feeling good =(, doggone it! I hope that you get to feeling better soon.

You've really been getting your stash in order. But, I have a feeling that your stash never really gets too "unruly". You seem like an "on-task" and organized person. Could I get some of this from you thru osmosis..but visiting your blog???

I went to the link about organizing and I saw the book she has used...I was sooo excited because this has been a HUGE help for my getting organized after many (shhh,, don't tell...30yrs)...years.

hugZ,
annie
