Pets On Quilts Show
Welcome to the 2011 Pets on Quilts Show hosted by Sew Cal Gal. Be sure to visit and view all the pets with owners linking up. You can click on the button at the side anytime to take you there.
MEET BELLA DONNA
Bella Donna is Italian for 'beautiful woman' and she just thinks she's all that. Always ready to give a quilt a 'cat scan'.
Ready to hold down a corner to keep a quilt from blowing off the props. "Hey Mom - that's my favorite tree!"
"I will hold down this binding for you, if you promise some treats afterwards."
"I can be a model for a stitchery design to use in pattern."
"And I am right there for quality control while things are in production."
"And I'll help with setting up on the mantel for a photo - OH my favorite quilt!"
"Since I'm not allowed to have my own pet bird and scolded when I sit under the bird feeders - this is my favorite quilt. What? This isn't mine?"
"Just for that, I will use my camouflage cover and wait to leap out at you. OR , maybe, I will just give you the 'evil-eye'."
"Well, this has been hard work and just SOOOOO exhausting. Think I will take a nap while you go visit the other entrants in the Pets on Quilts Show 2011."
**Bella is a rescue pet - she had a twin sister who unfortunately didn't survive. This has made my sweety my constant shadow - afraid of losing me, too.**
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon and Bella Donna
Bella Donna is truly beautiful. Her markings are striking. Oh, and she is a good quilt inspector.
ReplyDeleteI love kitties after being adopted by the neighbor’s cat eight years ago. CatCat often sleeps in that position and with her being calico and long-haired it becomes hard to tell which end is her face and which is Not !~!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty markings on her face! What is the pattern of the blue quilt in the tree, please.
ReplyDeleteSharon - Your Bella Donna is gorgeous!! My sweet dg is a rescue dog who lived inside the house with 24 other dogs!! She too won't let me out of her sight!!! Thank you and Bella Donna for this darling post!! Kris
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Especially the last one. What a pose!!

ReplyDeleteI think I have worked out what these animals are about...they just pretend to be camera shy - really they love it!! Bella Donna lives up to her name she is gorgeous. xx
ReplyDeleteBella Donna is beautiful in all the photos, but I think the best bit is the look on her face when she realises that the bird quilt is not hers!
ReplyDeleteBella has stolen my heart. She is a real beauty and I can see she has taken over the whole house, just like she is supposed to.
ReplyDeleteLucky you and lucky Bella Donna for finding each other! I love the sweet twirls of white on her face. She's certainly well trained in her duties :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice Bella - and so helpful - she isn't associated with the quilt police is she? Would have to be retrained I'm afraid. Thanks for the link, Sharon. Judy C in NC
