RSC18 Finishes & Looking Forward

Personally, I am not very good at BOMs as I get antsy waiting for the next block.  I, also, get a lot of scraps donated which I break down into my storage system by color.  Those color totes get rather stuffed at times, so I use the Rainbow Scrap Challenge to make an entire quilt (or miniature) with the monthly color.  These quilts are then passed on as charity donations, wrapping someone in a much needed warm hug.

And since my color totes are still very crammed with goodness, I will be using this same system with RSC19 .  I'm looking forward to January's color and very happy that Angela is continueing for another year.

  1. I like your idea to use all of your scraps of one color to make a complete quilt - that's something I hadn't thought to do. I love the resulting quilts you've made, too!

  4. I love your scrappy quilts or should that be quilts made from scraps. Either way they are beautiful. I like the idea of making a whole quilt from the monthly colour but I don't do enough sewing to generate enough scraps. What I really do like is that these beautiful quilts are donation quilts to give people in need a warm quilty hug. You are fabulous Sharon.

  8. They are all wonderful, the blue to one and the green houses, my favourites in my fav colours. But every one will have been so appreciated. Warmth and love all sewn together.

  14. What a great collection of finishes. I don't remember the first blue one at all. I need to take stock of my RSC projects most of which have carried over for too long. 2019 should be the year I finish some of them.
    Happy New Year.
