RSC18 - Purple

I finished another six Anvil Blocks so now have twelve done.  A big difference in the shades of purple and I hope it all plays nice in a quilt.

The plan is for a 4 x 5 setting with sashing/corner stones and everything is cut.  I hope to get at least four more made today.  I have some other commitments that have priority or I would finish this whole thing up this weekend.  Hey, there's still time in this short month so why rush.

We are in a 3 day spell of snow and ice - I won't step my foot off the porch!  The furkids and I are going into Cabin Fever Mode right now.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

  1. You're in a spell of snow and ice. We're witnessing very cold temperatures here in Lubbock. Fortunately, no precipitation in the forecast.

  2. Love the purple mix....I think they will be great together. Take no chances, but I do understand that cabin fever mode. Wish I had a solution:) Hang on spring is coming.

  3. The blocks are great! I'm sure they'll be just fine in the end quilt.

  4. those blocks are lovely together, and keep warm as you stay indoors, safety on a solid floor instead of an ice rink outside.

  6. Isn't it amazing how wide the range purple has? I'm not sure any other color has so much range. Maybe that's why I love it so much? Your blocks are great!!

We had just enough of a thaw today to make tomorrow look pretty slippery...

  12. You've got some fun purples in those anvil blocks. They look pretty good all grouped together the way you have them now. Hope the weather has cleared a bit and you are able to get out for a bit, at least make it to the grocery store if nothing else.
