It's Give Away Day


SewMaMaSew

Today starts the Give Away Day with SewMaMaSew which happens twice a year (May and December) and I always look forward to participating.


I have a Cherry Blossoms complete kit for her lovely 'Feather Fancy' wreath. Pattern and beautiful Island Batiks are in this kit and won't this make for a super Christmas present for yourself!

I will ship International - comments open until Friday, December 12, 10pm EST.  Winner will be contacted immediately for quick mailing - be sure I have a way to contact you. Any comment is fine, but if you are lost for words, how about your favorite Christmas song.

I adore Nat King Cole singing The Christmas Song - and I love Mary Did You Know? - and I have to admit one of my favorites is Eartha Kitt singing Santa Baby!!!

And it has to be Perry Como because that was the artist on the record that my parents played when I was a kid and is therefore the song on the 8-track that my dad recorded when I was 3 and I therefore listed to when I want to get into the spirit of Christmas. And I'm listening to it now.

  112. For most of my life it was "O Holy Night" but a few years ago I heard "Mary, Did You Know?" For the first time. The words and tune of that song are so beautiful and it is now my favourite.
