Saving Pennies

Click the picture to read more!

The challenge is out there - the gauntlet thrown by Val's Quilting Studio.  A terrific idea on how to save your coins for some future sewing purchase.

Now I distribute my loose change into three piggy banks for my grandkids and I don't want to take away from that.  So I am setting myself to a higher challenge.  I will throw a dollar or two or more into my lock box each week.  I really want THIS.

Won't you join in?

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

  1. Your piggies are so cute! I do the same thing for my grand kids. Only my piggies aren't as cute as yours.

  2. That's a really cool machine you linked to there in your post. I can see why you want it. I am fascinated by long arm machinery; almost as much fun as welding, I bet !~!

  3. You go girl! When you get that machine, you won't be employing your long armer any more.

  7. go you with the big goals. I am seriously considering taking on this challenge as well. We already save change but a jar for dollars sounds like a great plan.

  8. I'd love to join in. I already put my spare change in a bag in my desk….maybe I'll plunk a dollar or two in each week, too. Thanks for the idea!
