Surrounds


This week's assignment for Melissa's Star Surround QAL was to make the 'surrounds' - outer portion of block.  All nine of my blocks are stacked and ready for next week's assignment.  You can see everyone's progress over at Happy Quilting.

    Mine are stacked in the exact same way :) It will make it so much faster when you go to put them all together. Can't wait to see your top finished ;)

    Wonderful fall blocks Sharon! That "surround" fabric is so warm and rich, like molasses.... for some reason I'm really hungry! Must have a night-time snack right now :*)

    I love your fabric choices. I am also participating in Melissa´s QAL, but I am still in the 5th part, making the stars. There have been so many other things for me to work with. But I will soon continue, when other things are done,

    First of all Sharon I love your JR quilt - I have a couple of jelly rolls I need to get made up so I'm going to try your tutorial. Second where in the grocery do I find crystalized ginger? This recipe sounds fabulous! blessings, marlene
