Bloggers' Quilt Festival : Fall 2011

I am pleased to make an entry into the Bloggers' Quilt Festival : Fall 2011. The hostess is Amy over at AmysCreativeSide. Take some time to visit the many lovely entries - you won't be disappointed!

My entry is 'Raggedy Friends' that was offered by the lovely Ms Kaaren at The Painted Quilt as a free block of the month. A delightful mix of Annie, Andy and their friends and shared loves. Combining wonderful stitcheries with scrappy block lay-out made for a cherished quilt. I chose to hand quilt with lots of hearts thru out the piece. And I searched for and saved lots of red buttons while working on this - for all those eyes and accents! *a few close ups*

Won't you consider joining in? AmysCreativeSide Bloggers' QUilt Festival - Fall 2011

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

  16. I do love this quilt. It is on my to do list to restart next year. All new materials. This was my 'learning' design and I was stitching on broadcloth as someone suggested. I HATED it...it is one of those projects I threw away. I have the designs and am ready to do again with proper materials. Yours is fabulous!
