For a Dear Quilting Friend

I am sure many of you know Kaaren from The Painted Quilt - you've seen some of my progress here with her Raggedy Annie BOM. If you follow her blog you know that she is taking a break from blogging because of a serious health issue. We are all thinking of her and wishing her well; and some very special friends are organizing a project to show our support.




Here are some words from Allie at Allie-oops Sweet Happy Life

" We would like her to know that she's not fighting alone, and Paulette from Sweet P Quilting and Creations and Leslie from Les Quilts and I have decided to organize a quilt for her."

    Thanks for the heads up Sharon. I'm sure many of us who follow Kaaren's blog have been worried and have her in our prayers. It's great to have someone organize something so we can all let her know much she means to us.

    It is a great idea! We only have until July 15th but it's only one block. I am going to make it...and then commit to it and send it. I just have stopped committing to things for now, but this one is very important to me.

    I saw you were looking for the second traveling stash box. I believe that was the one i got. I sent an email to the person I sent it to to see if we can track it down. I'll keep you posted.
