We have had some glorious weather and I have been enjoying it. I'm in no hurry to work a project or finish a quilt. November and December have always been my ME time months. And with this crazy year, I want to make my days better.
I am slowly quilting my OMG project, but taking my time with no hurries or pressure. I have the whole month to get it done - so be it.
And as many times I've told her 'no' (she knows that word), she gets close enough to touch it, but not lay right on it. STINKER!!
Although the nice weather follows us into the weekend, I plan on making some butternut squash soup in the crockpot. A better day meal.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon
Sounds like two months happy time for you. How could you say no to that face??
ReplyDeleteI have just listened to J B talk, what a difference to DT. Hang in there, the numbers are almost there, I marvel at the number of votes in all of US, at some stage today I thought I saw Alaska votes still had to be counted. Love the supervisor, I dread the day when our Moxy gets his paw under the needle, he gets so close.
ReplyDeleteSuch a darling picture of your supervisor. Could you share your recipe for your butternut squash soup. I love the Panera version but have not mastered it yet. darquilts66@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'm also taking this month as a slow-sew time. Working on a mini so it'll be done soon, and making a Christmas quilt that I won't finish until next year. Feels good, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI like that meme, LOL!! I have a cute stitchery project I plan to start soon, and I need to get busy on two holiday projects too.
ReplyDeleteWell, that’s excellent advice. Sometimes I follow it depending on whether I think I might slit my own throat. Sounds like you’re reading for slowing down.
ReplyDeleteROFL!!! Thanks for the good laugh. I needed that!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Definitely both.
ReplyDeleteI think she needs a good scratch behind the ears.
