Quilter's Sale

The pictures are all dark as we are inside a large, dark barn.  But the sale is on - on the hottest days of the year.  Lots more books and patterns and magazines were added.

Every time I think we have them all, she comes up with 'another storage' of them and since this is a 5 day sale, we will bring more out as room allows.

Some wool and super high loft batt she no longer uses.  Time for another home.

Scrap quilters' delight here.  Garbage bags filled - $1 a bag!!  And there is more.

AND LOTS OF FABRIC

I so appreciate her sewing students (and family) that helped with the pre-work.  We had a great first day, even though being it was the 4th. Hey, we cooked hot dogs and shared with the crowd as a thank you for spending part of their Holiday with us.  Today will be some sorting, refolding, and making those empty slots so more can come out.

Well, back to the barn
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

  12. What a monumental task and during a heat wave on top of it. It must be a very bittersweet time for you. I hope you sell a lot so you don't have to pack it up again. Where on earth did your mother keep all of this?
