Not a very good photo - but poor Moe suffering the Dog Days of Summer. The house is kept dark and AC on so a good place to take a nap when it's too hot outside. He tried for ever (or is that fur ever?) to fit into that box of fabric. Finally he decided to use the box for one end and the tote for the other - occassionaly switching.
And it's a good time to remind everyone about the up-coming Pets On Quilts Show - August 10th. Start trying to get those kitties, puppies, and other pets photo'ed on a quilt. Or maybe you have a 'pet' themed quilt.
Jacque @ LilyPadQuilting has been hard at work rounding up some fabulous sponsors and prizes.
Just to show I finished Step #2 of Keven's Sapphire Mystery. The strattas need trimming, but they are at least all stitched.
Storms are moving in again, so the machine (and other things) goes off and it's time for some hand work.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon
That is so cute! He's obviously a fabric lover.
ReplyDeletePoor Moe, a black cat probably has a harder time staying cool when it's sunny and hot out. Looks like you made good progress on Kevin's mystery. Happy stitching this weekend.
ReplyDeleteMoe is so determined, the way he's sleeping doesn't look very comfortable. Pet's on Quilts is coming so soon, I'll be wrangling the terrible twins tomorrow I hope.
ReplyDeleteCats are such creatures of comfort. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how you keep up with everything! Everyone is being productive but me! LOL! Your kitty sure does look comfy there on your scraps in the AC! Great looking units for Sapphire Stars as well!
ReplyDeleteMoe is clearly trying to get you to use larger, Moe-sized bin for your fabric with this crazy sleeping position. LOL.
