Binding On
I thought I was done with bindings - NOT! I didn't expect my long armer to have this monster back so soon. I didn't even have the binding made - fabric set aside, but not made. So I shooed a couple of furkids out of the way and got that made - where did they go?
The other table had a russle - what a mess. I thought something fell, but look closer. Can you find Waldo? I mean Moe?
Does this help? There's actually a piece of scrap batt back there and I quess it look comfy, plus 'mamma yelled at me so this is a safe hiding spot'.
And I turned back to get to that binding - guess she doesn't listen. After I tugged, flipped, and swiveled her around with the quilt a few times, she decided it was better to move to her favorite blankie in the side chair.
Now I can finish up this binding and put it on my 'make a label' list for tomorrow. And yeah - get some sleep.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon
With all your help I am amazed that you accomplish very much. Sometimes we just have too many distractions.
ReplyDeleteHaha, those furkids sure can be demanding when it comes to getting your attention. They obviously love you :)
ReplyDeletethey are cute and do love fabric/batting. Binding....my favorite thing...lol. But it does mean the end.
ReplyDeleteThey do love to stay close at hand, just in case you need help...
ReplyDeleteThey are a mess. I'm surprised you get so must done with so much help : )
ReplyDeleteThose kitties. It's kind of a blessing and a curse when a quilt comes back too fast.
ReplyDeleteAhh your furkids are so helpful and very cute.
ReplyDeleteIt's always great to finish the binding on a quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour fur babies are so animated and FuN. Great having a finish to look forward to. xox
ReplyDeleteYour kitties are so cute! And at least they don't curl up under your chair (like my dogs) so you can't even get up without stepping on them!
ReplyDeleteLove your fireplace Sharon. It looks a lot like mine, and of course the sweet kitties. Elly has been walking me around slower with the boot. They seem to know when something is going on. Love all you quilts!
ReplyDeleteHmmm....one sulks from getting in trouble and the orher doesnt care or listen. That *never* happens ewirh my furkids...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing another finish.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Moe find a safe place to hang out while you worked.
