The 4th of July was a bit of a wash out here - lots of rain. But the locals didn't let it keep them from making lots of noise. I could watch in any directions for a 3 hour span and see (and hear) fireworks right from my front porch.
I had some friends and family stop in today - hence the silence and being late with a post. It was gorgeous today! But I was able to finish that little bit of hand work for Slow Sunday Stitching and as soon as every one left, I stitched it up into a little needlecase.
Now on to the June 2015 Let's Book It winner of the Vintage Sewing Machine Pin and the Lily Bouquet Charm:
Random picked #1 - Joanna
I will get in touch with her for mailing information and thank you ladies for participating this month.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon
That is a very sweet needle-case.
ReplyDeleteThe needlecase is absolutely lovely. That's a perfect use for a sweet little embroidery!
ReplyDeleteOne of these months I plan to join you in the Book It gang. I have some old Miniature Quilts magazines (from the 90's) that I want to drag out and play with.
Great use of a sweet little embroidery
ReplyDeleteThat made such a nice needlecase. Congratulations to Joanna.
ReplyDeleteSuper sweet needle case. LOVE the sweet little embroidery. I do believe embroidery will have to be my next hobby.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Joanna : )
I hope you enjoyed the nice weather yesterday.
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon ,what a cute needle case, and so nice you had some visitor time xx
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you finally had some nice weather and company to enjoy it with. Sitting on the front porch and watching fireworks sounds wonderful and long as the furbabies were O.K. with the noise.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable needle case Sharon! Quilters can never have enough of those. It rained on our 4th celebrations too, but I understand the Big Show in Nashville went on anyway in the pouring rain, and our neighbors certainly seemed to be having a ball too LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteYour stitiching is so lovely. Thank you for hosting the Let's Book It; It's a good motivator.
ReplyDeleteLove your little needle keep!!
ReplyDeleteCute needle case indeed. SOrry about all that rain....
