I need a day to finish up some slow stitching. A binding, hanging sleeve, and label on my Let's Book It project for the month and it will be completed.
I would really like to get to the top of the Button Tree. I need to leave this set out so I can work a thread a day or I will lag on this one.
And it's a good day to hand stitch, because these two think this quilt is just too comfy to let me finish quilting it. Sewingly Yours, Sharon
Sounds like the perfect day :) Isn't it funny that the fur babies want to snuggle up in the project you are working on instead of all the other quilts laying around the house?!?!
My cat not only sits on the quilts I am working on, but he likes to knock things onto the floor and rub up against me as well. Very difficult to sew with.
your tree looks so pretty! My daughters kitty comes to check out all the quilts as well. When he lays down on one, I know it must be a special quilt. Looks like you have a doubly special quilt!
Sounds like the perfect day :)

Oh No! Please don't disturb the felines. Your will get much satisfaction out of sewing down that binding and doing some handwork.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your hand stitching. Seems your felines think that's the thing you should be doing.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely don't want to move those sweet kitties...enjoy your hand stitching instead!

ReplyDeleteA great day for hand stitching, especially if it's cold outside!
ReplyDeleteYou must let sleeping cats lie... or something like that. In any case they are simply too cute to disturb!
ReplyDeleteCheeky kitties!
ReplyDeleteA great way to spend the day with your felines close by :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a productive day, Sharon. Those cheeky little kitties not letting you work on your quilt!
ReplyDeleteGood choice of work to do some hand stitching since your sewing machine is in a CATastrophic predicament. ;^) Enjoy the day off the sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteLet the kitties sleep and enjoy your hand-stitching.

ReplyDeleteI often wondered how much cat hair I crocheted into my Afghans.
