The RSC13 color of the month is blue - royal blues. I have a lot of blues, but to pull scraps in the 'royal' family was a bit tricky. My 16" star block takes the biggest bits of fabric, so I did this block first.
My whimsy in my sprouts this time is my 'muse' fabric - I just love this block and can't wait to put them all together. I am sure I will be adding more to size up this quilt.
To see what others made with their blue scraps this week, go here Saturday morning.
My mother, SIL, and I each pulled a name and the slips went in the cup for the draw of my Sew MaMa Sew Give Away - the cross stitch swans.
Anna McCurdy of Alberta Canada is the winner and I will be getting in touch with her. Thank you all for visiting and participating. And welcome to all the new followers.
I hope you all enjoy all Enjoy a wonderful Mother's Day Weekend - we are to have rain, so a great sewing weekend here.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon
