Whooping Up A Friday Finish

I finished up September's Schnibbles pattern 'Speck' with those wonderful London fabrics.  And teenie buttons in each center - had to use my beading needle to sew them on.

And I strip pieced the back with them - they are just so wonderful and made for such a pretty back.

Linking up with Friday Finish with http://richardquilts.blogspot.com/  (many blessings to the family as Richard's Dad just passed away) and with Whoop Whoop over at http://confessionsofafabricaddict.blogspot.com/ and with http://crookedseams.blogspot.com/ (Let me see Your Jelly Roll)

Just a few more days left of National Sewing Month - hope you get a chance to enjoy thread and needle..........

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

  5. Sharon you are so right - those fabrics are wonderful! Of course, the Schnibbles does work well to show them off too. I stitched a lot while we were traveling but not one thing since we got back - had to go straight back to work. :( I'm hoping this weekend to finish up my block for the Leafs Me Happy Blog Hop! blessings, marlene

  16. It never ceases to amaze me how different a quilt pattern will look from one set of fabrics to the next! I've seen a lot of 'Speck' around blogville, but I have to say, I really like it with your choice of the London fabrics!! And wow, those buttons really were tiny -- I had a hard time seeing them even with the picture blown up!! Happy Friday, Sharon! :)
