Summer's End
Just so you know I am here, lots and lots and lots of bindings. I spent all weekend making bindings for all those projects that need to be finished off. Now this was a surprise - my furries don't touch those quilts, but in taking a load of laundry from the washer and putting in the dryer, I came back to this. I left Moe alone. I think he is missing his former home and his brother as he has been a bit mopey and cuddly. I know my Bella gets whiney and cuddly - almost three years since we lost her sister and she still has days that she misses her. Yes, animals feel loss. So ..... I just switched to another project and another machine.
"There comes a time when autumn asks,
"What have you been doing all summer?"

Too cute! Now I know why you have a few machines! Love the quilt...looks real cuddly! We are still getting warm weather so it still feels like summer here, but I know the cool weather is on its way!
ReplyDeleteLucky you had another machine to work on! I love the fabrics in your quilt. The aquas and browns look lovely together.
ReplyDeleteYes we all need some lovin from time to time... :)
ReplyDeletelove the colours in that quilt Sharon, how cute pussy sitting there.xx
ReplyDeleteAwww.... sweet little Moe! And, sweet little *you* for letting him snuggle a little longer.. :-) You're right. Animals DO feel loss.. And love... and many, many other "human" emotions.. :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a comfy place to rest. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet quilt. Can't blame Moe for good taste!
ReplyDeleteI've done that, walked away from a project when one of the twins is using it for comfort. I thought you had Moe for a while, somehow I missed his story, but I'm glad you have him it looks like you're just right for him.
ReplyDeleteSweet little Moe ... y'all are lucky to have each other! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet to recognize Moe's need for healing time, and there's no better place to rest and heal than on a gorgeous quilt! =^..^=
ReplyDeleteAww, sweet Moe. I've been there - picked up another project to work on, cos a furbaby was snuggling in the first one!
ReplyDeleteWe lost a cat this spring and her sister is deffinitely missing her and so are we!

Awwww! How nice of you not to disturb Moe's slumber. He looks so comfy there.
ReplyDeleteToo sweet. Elliott and Snippie were raised together. Both are gone down, but when Snippie was getting ready to go, Elliott practically laid on top of him all the time. It took him a very long time to adjust. Now hopefully they are playing together again.
ReplyDeleteThe fur baby has the right idea with the cooler weather we've been having at night.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt and fabrics.......Moe has excellent taste Sharon!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful photo of the furry quilt lover appreciating the great quilts you make!
