Antique Quilt Show - Part Three-Finale

I so enjoyed the quilt show connected with a small community's foundation celebration.  There were many quilts and many of the same pattern, fabric, and time line.  So to end the show, I thought I would share some of the 'other' or singular ones in the show.  Hope you enjoy.

yes, these were 1" squares finishing at 1/2" - someone was very frugal

APPLIQUE

TULIP TREE - 1885-90

HEART BRIDAL RING - 1930'S

BASKETS - 1940'S

this quilt was sadly very worn before restoring, most of those lovely baskets were worn right away

OTHER

TAPESTRY - 1860

there were several of these, very similar in design, age, and color

MILK STRAINER QUILT - 1935-40

I have three of these myself.  This was a very fine cloth used for staining milk - texture of fine flannel.  The other side is pieced clothing of the time - tied with the cotton cording from feed sacks.
