May For Me - Day 8
We are enjoying all the 'shoe' stories on the previous post - thank you all for sharing. Did you get some ME time in yesterday? I got my last flower bed cleaned and all the glads and some other bulbs planted. That was good because we are in for a real 'soaker' rain today. I even played with my blue scraps. Love the Churn Dash Block. Fun to get a little something going to hang on the design wall - will link up with Patchwork Times.
Today's ME time will be get something in the crockpot for dinner, play some more with the Churns, and get all my monthly swaps packaged up for mailing tomorrow. I know, doesn't sound quite like a ME time - - - -
- - - because this will be my special ME time! Our Quilt Guild is hosting Marilyn Belford. A trunk show and demo - I am sure it will be a delight. You can find out more about Marilyn HERE.

Love the blues for your churn dash blocks!
ReplyDeleteI love churn dash blocks. Simple but pretty. I made a churn dash quilt for my son when he was in college. Man, 40 new calls on the bingo, and I had zero matches, lol.
ReplyDeleteThe blue churn dash blocks will make a lovely quilt. As for bingo ... Not one pair in line ... but it is fun to look.
ReplyDeletegreat blocks Sharon.xx
ReplyDeleteI love the churn dash block, too. I used a variation of it to do a quilt for my mom. Definitely sounds like you'll enjoy your ME time today!!! :)
