Clover & Violet Quilt & Stitch Along
The Clover & Violet NEW quilt and stitch along began with fabric and supply list on February 22 - you have lots of time to think and gather. I enjoyed their last summer picnic quilt, so certainly look forward to what is in store with this one. And it is offered in two sizes, so you can decide on the time committment that fits into your schedule.
These are my fabrics and I will decide on color threads for stitching once they are revealed. I like to use DMC and have LOTS of it!! I think I need another yellow for ballance. I will be using my favorite - muslin - for my stitching area.
Just click on the button on the side bar and it will take you to the Clover & Violet link. Hope you will join in.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon
I'm very tempted to join this QAL. I love the embroidery in the middle of the blocks. :)

ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun one, Sharon!! And your fabrics are great!! Kris
ReplyDeleteSharon, I love your fabric choices. I have thought about doing this in the smaller version, but wonder if the embroidery will take too long for me to do. Even a little back stitch seems to take me forever!
ReplyDeleteLove all those fabrics Sharon! Can't wait to see this.

It will be fun seeing what you and the other create and post. I plan to attempt embroidery next year. This is the year to learning to knit or crochet scarves :D
ReplyDeleteIt is such a cute QAL. Your fabric choices will make a beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric choices! Looking forward to seeing your project come to life.
ReplyDeleteSharon, great selection! I think it will be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOOoooh, I can tell this is going to be a good one Sharon! Love those fabrics.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you picked Sharon. You overwhelm me with your energy. This is going to be a great quiilt along.
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics you've picked - i'm doing this one as well but I'm struggling to pull together the fabrics without buying any!
ReplyDeleteThey always have great stuff. I will have to save for later but it looks like I'll really like this one.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty fabrics! I'm so glad to see that you're using DMC; I was afraid I'd be the only one. And that's assuming that I participate in the embroidery part of this QAL...I haven't done anything like that in years! This should be interesting!
