I love your pin cushions. They are absolutely amazing and thanks for the tutorial. I have it bookmarked. I was a 4-Her for sometime, too. I did many of the cooking and some of the sewing projects and then got interested in other things. It wasn't "cool" to be in 4-H after about 7th grade where I lived - even in rural WV. My brothers did it later because they raised sheep. Maybe it was because I was the only girl in my grade in that community and school up through 5th grade. I remember we had a wonderful recipe for cinnamon rolls. I am visiting my daughter in another state and am enjoying myself immensely with two of my grandboys. I will be trying this recipe for pin cushions as soon as I can home. It is so flexible for any size lid. Great for recycling and I love that you used the stones in the bottom for weight - great idea! You are very creative. As to my favorite sewing notion. I have a seam ripper that my brother made me from a kit. It is the sharpest seam ripper I have ever had. You turn the seam ripper around and it fits in the handle, so you don't ever lose the top (your cover) and the wooden handle is made from wood from his wife's dad's property which was right across from the one-room school my brother and I attended. He had used all the wood from our home property that he had. It just showed up in my mail box earlier this year for no particular event. You are very generous with your give away and sharing your creativity. Thank you for participating.Suzehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05825257012315494167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4251826517940652812.post-88303421912485996592013-09-13T12:37:05.988-07:002013-09-13T12:37:05.988-07:00I didn't think that your post was long-winded ...I didn't think that your post was long-winded at all!
