I'm happy that a fabric order arrived timely and safely. These are 'old' colors for repair of a couple of vintage quilts for commission work. Now I can plan my time on them.
I, also, ordered this back in December - 'Gelato' by Maywood Studio. These are textured solids and they will be used in three projects thru the year. This year will be more about just block making as I have those two big repair pieces. I will progress with OMG, but quilts might go out for quilting - we are locking down again and I know folks could use the income.
You know it is brrrrrrrrrrr cold when these two not only share the same napping space, but are actually touching!!
New on the side bar, Carole has posted the newest Scrap Dance QAL. Yeah that looks like my new fabric colors, but I am going scrappy to clean out some of the old.
Don't forget the next Blog Hop coming up. We are doing hearts, but NO RED. I'm happy to say my project is done and a draft post ready to go.
Although it is cold here, the sun is finally shining! I am going to walk a bit outside just to soak up some 'fresh' to relieve some of the past few day's stress.
Sewingly Yours,
Sharon

ReplyDeleteI love the fabric choices Sharon. They will make a beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just have to get outside even if it is cold. A walk in the fresh air does a body good. It is too rainy here to go out. Enjoy your weekend.

ReplyDeleteMust be something in the air. My two were willing to share Mike’s lap yesterday. Will cats be making peace in preparation for taking over the world?
