The color for August was lite/pastel green.. I used my baggy of greens when we had the darker green, so a lot of digging to come up with these. The star I had to resort to pulling a FQ.
Be sure to visit SoScrappy to see how others have been playing with their greens.
And be sure to give this guy a very Happy 70th Birthday!!

Very pretty.
How appropriate, beautiful greens for Smokey's birthday :)
I like the greens you came up with. Glad you are able dig out so many great shades.

I so love green and what you did with it.
Great blocks! I need to get back to doing the scrap challenge.
Yummy Greens and Happy Birthday Smokey
Wow such lovely green blocks. They all look great. I asked my husband what Smoky's middle name was to celebrate his birthday. He didn't know and I said "the". I know I am so bad.
How I love greens! I remember being an official Smokey the Bear Ranger. Smokey was about 10 ... I was a bit younger.
Your greens are wonderful! Love seeing your blocks!
Love Smokey. How ever did you know it was his birthday! Your green blocks look super.
I'd have a hard time with two different greens too. Your projects look great!
Good variety of greens going on in those blocks. Such a good "go to" color to go in quilts.
I always like Smoky the Bear.
I love the green churn dash !
Lovely blocks - particularly those garlic knots.
August is Peridot and perfect with the green theme. Lovely blocks. Creative Sewing Bliss...
Such pretty light blocks. I need to start cutting my churn dashes for the month.
